Artist: donnaimmaculata
Title: Gytha and Giamo with an Orangutan
Characters and/or Pairing(s): Gytha Ogg/Giamo Casanunda
Rating: R
Medium: Watercolours
Possible warnings and/or enticements: Full-frontal nudity. Human/Dwarf pairing. With bonus Greebo, Librarian and a massive Johnson.
Summary: Nanny and Casanunda's second date goes as might have been expected. By him, anyway.
Artist's Notes: Answer to prompt # 10. Art of Nanny Ogg and/or Perdita, in a style inspired by (or parodying) Titian. More specifically, it's a parody of this painting: Venus and Cupid with an Organist. You might well wonder what the Librarian is doing interfering in such an intimate scene, but then - what is the organist doing in the original?

(It should be noted that our mystery artist sent two versions of "Gytha and Giamo with an Orangutan," with only Version B being Art (with a capital 'A'). See if you can figure out the subtle difference *g*

version A

Version B

This is fantastic! Love the choice of painting to parody and the characters you've chosen, including Greebo sitting in the corner. I was expecting a cherub to show us that it was art and not just ladies without their clothes on, so it took me a while to spot the minor change but then I kicked myself :-D. Wonderful work, mystery artist!

It wasn't until the second viewing that I realised of course the Librarian is an organist, and noticed the big Johnson promised in your enticements. It's such fun coming back to see what I didn't pick up pn the first time :-)

Heh! I'm glad you liked it enough to view it twice :-) In a way, Giamo plays the role of the cherub (cupid, anyway), but he certainly wouldn't be responsible for turning art into Art!

I must admit I laughed like a drain when I found that Titian painting and realised it would be perfect; I had signed up for Titian on a whim, and only then went looking for a suitable piece to parody. The organist was too good to be true.

This is so witty! Felt a bit sad that we only had a couple of artists in this year's fest, but you more than made up for that! The Johnson, ahaha! I also love how Nanny has no time for that prissy transparent cloth of modesty in the Titian.

And I know what the Librarian is doing there - providing the soundtrack to their hot sexin'.

I'm afraid I'm just not skilled enough to paint a gauzy, transparent cloth or modesty! But you're right, Nanny wouldn't be having with it in any case.

And I know what the Librarian is doing there - providing the soundtrack to their hot sexin'.

I wonder whether he plays the Hedgehog song...
